I was just getting started here back then. His representation there really gave the whole thing that much more legitimacy vs. some stupid mad fans.
I see a probable mult here called Sad. I think I know who that is and thought of him after hearing this news. But Sad's post should be taken to heart. Especially here. [Reply]
Grew up with this guy helping my dad watch over me. He helped me through a lot of things, especially after my dad passed. He was really close to my dad. Him and his cousin Eric are like family to me. Rest In Peace Big Mike. Miss you bud.
He was a truly genuine man with a heart of gold. Thankful for the moments I had with him and the wisdom and advice he gave me. See you on the other side! [Reply]

I can tell you guys that he wasn't sick, and to my knowledge, wasn't suffering.
He probably would have told me if that was the case. We communicated infrequently, but regularly.
He went through a tough spot, but his life was on the upswing in the last few months. He got to see the Chiefs win the SB, and he had a girl he had absolutely no business banging hanging around. :-)
So I'm certain his last days were pretty good. So I take some comfort in that. [Reply]
Hate to hear this. Hopefully his loved ones are doing ok. He was a super nice guy on the board but I never met him in real life. It kind of sucked he ran off after the moderator fiasco but I know he posted a couple of times after that. Wish he would have stuck around, it wasn't anything personal. It just wasn't something that suited his personality, which was a great personality to have. Hopefully that made sense.
