After a while when you earn their respect, they would talk to you like a buddy. The trauma endured for years was heart breaking. And it was told matter of factly.

I had 3 of those heroes go home and commit suicide after our shift. If some of the toughest harden men in the nation can have PTSD a civilian can.
I was in the 75th Ranger Regiment for four years. One of the most bad ass dudes there committed suicide after I got out. PTSD is real, add in TBI from training and all of our deployments, and it's a recipe for terrible shit to happen. PLUS military culture looks down on mental illnesses and issues, so guys don't talk about it for fear of being RFS'd or discharged or even just losing out on promotions. It's terrible.

So his situation is gonna be very interesting to monitor because many posters wrote him off already. But dude was with the first team offense yesterday so we'll see if it continues :-)
Would love to see him make the team. If he were, who would be the odd man out (besides Moore).

They are making really great strides with treatments like ibogaine. The FDA needs to get on making it legal in the US.

Average reduction of 88% in PTSD symptoms
Average reduction of 87% in depression symptoms
Average reduction of 81% in anxiety symptoms
Another study conducted by Stanford researchers discovered significant improvements in functioning, PTSD, depression, and anxiety immediately after ibogaine treatment, with sustained effects for at least 30 days after treatment.
Ibogaine’s effects on cognition are unclear, but brain scans are being studied to understand how the drug may have improved working memory, processing speed, and other cognitive functions.

We gonna jack up the Ravens and then jack up the Bengals. I can't see it going any other way. We fear no one.

That’s the sad truth far too often. It’s openly advocated to seek help, but quietly frowned upon. It can be more difficult to get put into some of those KD positions if you’re “broke”. Especially if that KD position is one of trust and confidence. Without rated time in those positions, promotions come to a screeching halt as you will never finish high enough on the OML after your board to have a legit shot of being promoted.

Those guys are basically fighting for 2, maaaaybe 3 spots. The Chiefs seem damn determined to make Toney work, Hardman is a vet they trust (and I believe we get the 4-year vet discount on his contract?) and Dave Toub really freakin loves Remigio. And I didn't even talk about Washington, who might be the best kick returner of the entire group.

Ross DID play STs last year, so he's definitely in the mix, but he's going to have to make it 100% obvious that he's one of the more reliable WRs on the team, not just flashy.
The Rice suspension is likely to make it easier for an extra WR to make the roster. And Toney seems to be being used more as s gadget guy right now. But I agree it's a tough battle but I check for Ross's name among others after each day of camp and the guy has scored a TD and made other good catches literally everyday since the vets returned. He also mixed in with the starters yesterday. So it really does seem like he's making a strong case and with him being a different receiver to the others that may give him an advantage.

Can we just stop the Ross BS. He's not making this team.

Hardman, Toney, Remigio, and Skyy Are fighting for 2 spots, unless Andy gets creative with roster construction.

Agreed. And from that group I'm rooting for Toney/Remigio. I will say no more on this.

So he was put with the starters for nothing? :-)

He brings one trait. And is below average at all the rest. And his one trait is something we’ve rarely used. You can scratch him out and let Wiley be the jump ball guy and have 3x the positional flexibility and run it out of heavy sets creating better mismatches. To ever get Ross on the field you have to take someone who is leaps and bounds better off.

Skyy, Remigio and Hardman are all short receivers. What traits do they bring that Brown, Worthy and Rice don't have?

It’s not about not having traits. You don’t buy a one ton dually because you have a corvette. You buy what fits your life style. Maybe a fiat daily driver. Maybe a half ton to antique shop in. Maybe another corvettes for when the one you have is getting a nitrous kit installed. We aren’t hauling cattle throwing jump balls. We’re street racing corvettes here!
