Spoiler!
I know all Bond movies have a high tech gadget that needs to be overcome however I don't like the idea of the no win scenario. Also, the bionic eye was a bit cheesy. I guess Bond just isn't destined to ever be happy and settle down (not that it would be settling...)
About your spoilers:
Spoiler!
I agree on both counts.
It's hard to buy this particular "no win" scenario because Bond beats the odds a dozen times in every movie. Another problem is that he just accepts that the nanobots can never be removed. How many insane sci-fi gadgets have we seen in this franchise? Countless. But these nanobots are something that will never ever ever be able to be removed? And, as I mentioned before, Bond has been without his wife for 5 years already and didn't know for sure that the little girl was his until after he had accepted his death so his decision to just give up isn't plausible to me.
The electronic eye is also lame. In a world with miniature cameras it doesn't make a lick of sense. Especially when you have three guys carrying it around on a pillow at a party! Ultimately, it's only real purpose was to give Bond a gadget kill at the end. They should have given Cyclops the ability to shoot laser beams out if it or something. As Kano from Mortal Kombat once observed "Ahhh laser beams! Better than fireballs, ya pussy."
The bottom line is that the writing in this franchise, from the books, to Dr. No, to No Time to Die, is complete shit. Some of the movies are fun enough that you can overlook the terrible writing and frequently poor direction, but most if the time you end up with crap.
Casino Royale is the only genuinely good movie of the entire series, and even it has some issues. [Reply]
Who was the woman from Casino Royale that died early on when Bond was in the Bahamas? Dimitros's (I think?) girlfriend, the brunette? That woman was/is (most likely still) a goddess. She should be on the list, even if she isn't technically a Bond girl. Eva Green, as well (imho, of course). [Reply]

Solange was the character in Casino Rayale, I believe.
There area lot of hot Italian women in these movies.
I saw Eva Greene on several Bond Girl lists, but I don't think she looks that hot. I think it's her makeup. She looked much better in the scenes where she wasn't wearing any.

Writers strike totally ****ed that one. They decided to push it out anyway and it was a shitshow. The writers get paid for a reason.
That still wouldn't have fixed the movie's biggest issue: the way it was filmed. The constant camera cuts make it feel like you are trying to watch the movie while you're on a rollercoaster. The average shot length was 1.7 seconds. Frenetic camera movements can ramp up excitement in action sequences, but taken to extremes and the audience can't even tell what they're watching. And when the same technique is used in the slower parts of the film you just end up with an unwatchable mess.
The makers of the new Star Trek series have the same problems. A scene with Picard getting a cup of tea features 5 cuts and a camera spinning around like it just came from an early 2000s Tony Scott movie. [Reply]

Agreed. I liked it a lot and I didn’t like the last one very much.
It has kind of a throwback ending with the big bad in his huge island lair. Although, don’t think too deep into it. Like “why would all these minions work for him?” He must pay well? [Reply]

Spoiler!
My biggest issue (other than the unbeatable mcguffin) with the ending is that it seems like a terrible idea to blow this place up and disperse the horribly toxic chemicals into the atmosphere.

There were a shit ton of call backs and signature phrases/moves throughout the movie. Fun stuff. Like you said it's not deep by any means. [Reply]
First and foremost, I'd eat Ana de Armas' ass. Ferociously.
Now that that's out of the way.. This is one you can't think too much about, but on the surface it's a quintessential Bond flick. If you didn't enjoy this one, I think you just don't like the James Bond franchise.
It was a great send off for Daniel Craig, though I'd probably rank this one riiiight in the middle of the Craig Bonds.
Casino Royale
Skyfall
No Time to Die
Quantum of Solace
Spectre
Now that I think about it, NTtD and QoS are pretty interchangeable in my eyes. Spectre was really the only dud of Craig's, IMO. [Reply]
