Like draft kelce #1?
Is that insane?
Mccaffrey is projected to score 70 more points than the next highest scoring rb.
Kelce is projected to score 75 more points than the next highest scoring te.
Mahomes is projected to score 83 more points than the 3rd highest scoring qb (he's only projected 23 more than #2 so I had to change the comparison some)
Based on that data, my biggest jump from top to 2nd positional wise is kelce. So I should take him.
The difference between rb 1 and rb 12 is roughly the same as te 1 to te 12.
However, there are still viable rbs after 12 whereas tes after about 8 is shit.
Still leads me to kelce.
Biggest issue is there won't be top 20 rbs left in round 5 but there will be top 5 tes.

I'm seriously debating it. Also I've thought about mahomes at 1 even. Madness. I hate the first pick. I like to react in the first round. And then I hate the 20 pick wait because so much can happen.

Better be good at waiver wire then. Ick.
Mahomes is a crazy idea (IMO) as the EVOR at QB is negligible through rounds 4 or 5 and nominal through rounds 7 or 8.
If you think Davonte Adams repeats his 2020 season, from a net points and EVOR he makes sense as a top 3 pick and thus wouldn't be a reach at #1.
If you think Kelce repeats his 2020 season, that Waller won't be there at 20, and that other TEs not named Waller struggle equally again, his positional EVOR is justifiable as a top pick. [Reply]

I did take mahomes with my first round pick (8) in my other free league. But it's a point per completion scoring system so top qbs can score 70+ points a week.
I think kelce repeats and Waller falls off some. I think the middle class of tes won't be quite so far off though. [Reply]

I lost a little bit of respect for you today. :-):-)
lol it was 12 but had 5 begginers and 3 really good players. We had one guy trade Dk for Gallup thinking he was getting Gallup lol.
edit: you meant the auto draft leage, yes it was 10. It's actually a coworkers family league. I'm and awkward fill in for year 3 now. They removed me from the group text after i won it in year one. Now im back in but not making any allies by repeatedly saying " Autodraft is for cowards!" [Reply]

There's a lot to be said to for having a team you like and want to cheer for. My favorite teams are the ones where I have a few Chiefs. [Reply]

I used to have the Chiefs rb every season.
I've got until Sunday to figure out if I'm doing the logical thing and taking mccaffrey or if I'm going to fuck with everyone and take kelce. Right now I'm leaning kelce. One of espns mocks has kelce at 3...
Oh and it's a 12 team league so next pick is 24. Absolutely hate it. Gotta do some mocks and see what rbs fall to 24 and 25. [Reply]

PPR?
Carson's value in PPR is top 10-15... He's only got an ADP in the 30-40 range because of injury concerns. I'd you take Kelce first, Carson might be a great pair at 24/25 if he's there. You're gambling on the injuries, but if he stays healthy he's outputting more points than quite a few RBs taken ahead of him.
TBQH - others might call it a reach, but Gus Edwards or Mike Davis could be good options too if you want a bell cow. If not, maybe Henderson or Jacobs if you're willing to commit to take Michel or Drake as a handcuff? [Reply]

Carson and Davis would be targets of mine regardless. And yes, ppr [Reply]
