What would these guys realistically cost us in trade value?

Tyreek
Adams
Cooper
Hopkins

Why in the world would the Seahawks trade Lockett? Cmon people. They are in the drivers seat to win the NFC West. Lets use some logic here

Well...well...they have 3 receivers. So if Rice Worthy and Hollywood Brown were all healthy would we have Hollywood Brown on the trade block for a 5th round pick next year? A trade for a receiver who actually moves the needle has to come from a bottom feeder that has already thrown the towel in.

He's had time, for the most part.

The narrative that the WR's don't get open? Not true. There are tons of clips of guys running free, he's just not seeing the field as he normally does.

Am I worried long-term? NO.

Is he playing well? NO. Today from the 2nd quarter on was a lot better. Maybe he's shaking his funk.

The only thing wrong here has been execution, and yeah, it's Mahomes as exhibit #1.

They'll get it together.
I can’t believe after all this time and people still have their head in the sand about how much bad wr and OT play has ****ed mahomes up. His OT and WR play at times has been ok this season. Better than last season. But he needs extra help to un**** him from what we put him through last year

He is abandoning pockets not just because he doesn’t trust his OL but because he doesn’t trust any of his WRs. He is double clutching and overthinking deep balls because the only reliable deep threat on this team is a rookie Andy only trusts to run go routes. Mahomes isn’t this bad of a qb. He has ptsd and now he’s back to the same situation he was in last year except.

Or trying to again oversell us on the idea that bad WRs will eventually be fine. No. We have a big time WR problem. We will adapt and mahomes will find ways to win ugly. But mahomes isn’t going to have WRs flying open all the time with Watson and skyy largely running cardio all game.

This time it isn’t anyone’s fault but bad luck. But this isn’t just about

Trade for no one, use the hands on deck already here... Hardman, Watson, and Worthy can all eat up productive reps

Kirk from Jacksonville?

They are 0-4, could be heading into sell off mode.

And Kirk would have some familiarity with Andy’s offense from Pederson.

Realistically this team will need to look at the FA market to buffer the time lost by Rice.

While KCs shooting for a three peat, winning a third straight SB was never a given. Veach isn’t going to mortgage the future for a WR via trade.

Depending on how long Rice is down, they might get him back late in the season. Until then they are going to lean on Kelce, Worthy, JuJu (hopefully), and Watson.

Along with that they will be leaning on Mahomes hopefully fixing his decision making some, a strong running game (especially when Pacheco returns) and an elite defense.

Losing Rice is rough, but it’s not enough to tank the season.

Those arguing not to trade a 4th-6th or whatever for a solid vet WR (Diontae Johnson, Amari Cooper, etc) aren't taking into account the possibility of further injuries to our pass catchers. That's in addition to the arguments about giving Mahomes a little more to work with in this quest to go for the threepeat. There's a lot more season to go in terms of opportunity for injuries given how things have already gone since the first preseason snap. They need to get someone else even just for injury insurance and a little more "room for error", but it needs to be someone who can replace some of what Hollywood Brown and/or Rashee Rice brought to the offense, otherwise it's not worth it. I think Diontae Johnson and Amari Cooper are players who can do that. It's okay to give up a day 3 draft pick for a WR like that. It's not going to mortgage the future. It's okay to spend a little of that credit card. No need to be too conservative on decisions like this. There is ZERO doubt in my mind that Veach will go get someone. Zero doubt whatsoever.

Bullshit. It's the fucking NFL, bucko. The other guys get paid, too.

Did you miss Worthy on the crosser to seal the win?

There's a salary cap, and every year you have new pieces to figure it out with. And we've been lucky with injuries for a couple years, really.

We'd all love to see the 2018 offense paired with the 2023 defense - but it's not going to happen.

Each season, you figure it out on the fly, and you utilize what you have to win games- and in case you missed it, we've been really good at this.

It sucks that we lost WRs #1 and #2. It sucks.

There's no superhero waiting on the couch. They're going to have to figure it out again.

Worthy is already more advanced than Rice was at this point last year. You can build on that.

Rice was getting a lot of what are usually Kelce targets - we see that Kelce is still Kelce. Gray is pretty good. Watson makes a big play a game.

Hunt looks like his old self - that's a bonus. We can ride him and Perine until Pacheco gets back.

Just keep working, and hit the play when it's there and we'll be fine.

You act like they haven't addressed offensive player issues, and that's just flat bullshit.

Doesn’t he have a huge contract? I’m not sure how realistic that would be.

If you had Amari Cooper or DeAndre Hopkins, would you trade them for a 4th-6th round pick?

Yeah, me neither. That's not happening. That's a farce.

Chiefs only have $4.9 million in cap space. That definitely limits their options.
