The Kansas City Chiefs and Hallmark are teaming up with the NFL and Skydance Sports for a new, original movie, “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” starring Tyler Hynes, Hunter King and Ed Begley Jr.
Hallmark movies are hard to watch, even ironically. It seems like a fun cheesy thing to do at Christmas time but then you're a half hour into them and it's breaking your brain.
I don't think I can watch five minutes of this without running out of the room [Reply]
My wife loves Hallmark Christmas movies. I have seen pieces of them because she would start them with me in the room. I like to trade her because it's always obvious in the first 5 minutes, who the couple is that is going to fall in love. SMH. I don't see the appeal at all. It's always the same basic plot. Someone new comes around for Christmas that's single. They meet someone local who is always single. Somehow, they always end up falling in love. Yawn! [Reply]

Hallmark movies are rinse and repeat. The place/time/situation is the variable. They will always fall in love. Always. [Reply]
My wife loves the Hallmark Christmas movies too. I'll probably watch this one with her, but usually I grab my laptop and headphones and play a video game whenever she tunes into one of these [Reply]
Looks absolutely charming and i can't wait to cuddle up under a snuggie with a warm cup of cocoa to laugh, cry, cheer and maybe even get a hand job. [Reply]
I prefer the Lifetime Christmas movies. They're less dark, w/o real villains. Just misguided people who mean well. Unless someone is back in town from LA, then they're a nefarious plot device. Back from NY or Chicago: good. Back from LA: evil.
Oh yeah, and you have to be drunk. Don't try to watch these things sober. [Reply]
Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. They showed a flash of Diedrich Bader, the "two chicks at the same time" guy from Office Space. I bet there's a second version of the movie that runs with that theme, and it'll be way more interesting.
Diedrich Bader is pretty much a guarantee that a show will be good. The Drew Carey Show, Napoleon Dynamite, Office Space ... the guy picks winners. [Reply]
No reason to hate on Hallmark Christmas movies, but especially not this one. It should be celebrated here with a game day style thread for the premiere. [Reply]
