Only good things are they really got to see what an experienced playoff team with a Cy Young level pitcher looks like when they're in playoff mode, and if the Mets lose we probably won't see Sale because they have to save him for Monday.

I don't think we see Sale anyway, unless we win tomorrow and then Sale can strike out all 27 Sunday for all I care. The Braves have basically said he will only pitch in an elimination game, if it comes to that. Apparently he is totally onboard with the plan.

Braves just announced they're bringing Reynaldo Lopez off the injured list to start tomorrow. He was an all-star this year and is 8-5 with a 2.03 ERA.

Well, the good news is, they may not want him to pitch deep into the game. The bad news is, we probably will get dominated for the 3-5 innings he pitches.

To be fair if Lopez had a few more innings to qualify he'd likely be in the Cy Young conversation. Tomorrow will be start #25 but he's going to fall short on innings. He has a higher ERA+ than Sale who leads MLB in that number. The guy was an average pitcher for years with the White Sox but the Braves get him and he turns into Cy Young.
