Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
.@Chiefs@PatrickMahomes5 dropped back 8X in his first action in the first quarter and was hit 3X hard. The type of hits that no one wants to see any QB take. Pass protection has got to be a major priority this week in practice. #BaldyBreakdownspic.twitter.com/0vcTvkN7Ec
It’s true. The OL was trash in week 1 pre season. Losing faith in your OL is a QBs worst nightmare. Hopefully it’s just a matter of time to gel. [Reply]

Why would they need to gel? It's the same guys as last year [Reply]

I'm guessing they just asked him to go through the motions and not go full speed so they could build continuity. Plus, they probably don't want anyone to know if he's really hurt or not. [Reply]

I know it will likely get better, especially under Andy, but if that line performance Thursday is any sign of what’s to come... it’s going to severely effect what we should be able to do offensively.
On paper, we shouldn’t see a box heavier than 6 guys on almost every snap. But if guys like Fisher, Erving, or Schwartz are going to get their ass whooped half the time, it’s really going to cap what they can do as a unit.
I say get Erving the hell out of there and cross your fingers from there. [Reply]

You mean he doesn't go into a shell and die when things don't go his way early? :-) [Reply]

I have said all along our o-line needs to get nasty and they have never played nasty IMHO. There are no players along this line that I see as nasty. Just isn't. We are in for a long season because we have an extremely tough schedule. [Reply]
