Who cares about the Broncos. The battle for the division is between the Chiefs and Raiders and looks to be that way for some time. I live in Denver. The sports radio guys aren't high on the Broncos chances and openly admit the team is not a contender as currently constructed. Mark Schlereth has been bagging on Lynch all off-season. Don't sweat the trolls. The guys who actually cover Denver know the truth. [Reply]

Not to mention that Elway gave a back up guard like Ron Leary the same guaranteed money as the Chiefs paid to LDT in the same year. [Reply]

Truth.
Elway just wanted his own Tyler Bray. Elway will probably begin following Dorsey's every move in an effort to try and become a legit GM since he can no longer count on the Manning/FA gravy train.
With Every passing season, Elway's true and worthless colors will shine brighter and brighter until he finally reaches Millen nirvana. [Reply]

If you watched the market for top end OL this FA they were getting $10 Mill, John got depth players well under market value. I still think the OL and DL as of right now are the Broncos weak links but I like the moves John made in the draft and am hoping the guys he picked can contribute, don't need them to be great, average play would be an upgrade on the OL from the last 2 years.
Fisher was never benched, you baboon.
Fisher can play both tackle spots where Stephenson struggles a ton on the right, so the coaches shifted players around 2 years ago to make the best Oal they could to open the season.
You didn't understand that conversation then and I'm not surprised that the info still hasn't processed in your head.
Even after seeing Stephenson fail over and over for your own team.
I'm still SHOCKED that anybody paid that guy more than league minimum.
The fact Elway paid him starting RT money says it all.
I think after the draft, the Broncos are the least talented team in the division. The Chargers offense is going to give Denver's defense a lot of problems week 1 IMO. [Reply]
No doubt Elway got a huge bargain with Harris, but trying to compare deals signed 2 years ago to deals signed recently is pretty intellectually dishonest.
Also, I specifically said to name a deal Elway worked AFTER manning left that was a good signing.
Very telling that you had to go back to 2015 to find an example.
Here's the truth:
Coaches don't want to work with Elway because he micromanages them.
Players don't want to re-sign with Denver under Elway, most clown him.
Elway has been a bottom 5 drafter since he's been there.
All of Elways success in Denver is directly attributable to signing Manning. [Reply]

The Broncos could've hired any coach they wanted. They were the #1 team on every potential HC's list.
Players don't want to re-sign with Denver? Darian Stewart, Sanders, and Brandon Marshall all signed contract extensions last year. :-)
Elway just had one of the best drafts in the entire league.
Without Elway there would've been no Peyton Manning in Denver. [Reply]

The cap hits for both of your safeties totals Berry's contract....yeah. But Berry is also twice as good as both of them combined.....so there's that. [Reply]
