You are actually correct.
Pat Mahomes is 19-of-21 with long, over-the-top TD passes to Tyreek Hill and Chris Conley. The Chiefs aren't in pads, it's not a particularly competitive practice and Mahomes is throwing against backup defenders. But still.

Jeff Chadiha this morning was like yeah I know the offense is going to be great and the defense is going to be better but you can't tell me coaches win so I'm thinking the Chiefs won't win the west.
Okay so the Chiefs were #5 on offense last year, had the #28 run defense last year, both are set to improve and they have all the same coaches and the Raiders and Broncos are going to be bad but the jury is still out on these defensive players? Like when he wouldn't admit that Hitchens will be better than DJ last year. That guy is friggin clueless and is just there to have negative hot takes. Why is he even a regular guest? Chadiha was in full hater mode on the radio this morning. Vomiting a bunch of mindless nonsense about how Rivers is going to suddenly just “decide” to be a smarter quarterback and ultimately abandon the way he’s played the game his whole life. Ok.
He also mentioned that Desaaun Watson would have a better year than Mahomes because he’s getting JJ Watt back and their pass rush will be great. I’m sorry, Jeff, but you do realize WATSON IS A FUCKING QUARTERBACK?! I wanted to jump through the radio and kick this clown in the throat.
