Felix Anudike-Uzomah was drafted with pick 31 of round 1 in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 8.73 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 209 out of 1634 DE from 1987 to 2023. https://t.co/maz03OdBwqpic.twitter.com/xoMJ9ki2Pv
I don't see how he was better than Karlaftis, but I'd love to see some clips.
Nobody got a 'good' grade.
FAU -- 69.9
GK -- 63.8
Malik Herring -- 62.5
Chris Jones -- 61.0
And honestly, I have ZERO idea how they got there. 21 pass rush snaps, 1 total pressure. GK, OTOH, in 38 rush snaps had FIVE.
I really do not understand how they grade DL (or OL play) at all. It just makes zero sense to me and it is SO prone to confirmation bias.
But hell, the guy played 35 snaps and didn't suck. Regardless of what you think about his grade (total grade ended up checking out as decent), he most assuredly didn't suck. He was solid. [Reply]
He’s getting better. If anything he’s not gonna be a Skyy Moore level draft pick. Dude was putting in work yesterday.
I've harped on FAU's get off all season. He has been MUCH better so far through this game. Great job here getting off the ball and staying low and underneath Trent Williams' block pic.twitter.com/4tzQ5k3fpr
FAU starts the game against a double team of Trent Williams and Aaron Banks. Part of FAU's year-to-year improvement has been in the run game, and he doesn't let either player climb. He looks like he belongs now, which is insane to say after some of those preseason reps.
Now that they are moving him around the front so he can beat some interior OL rushing the passer, I feel pretty confident he is at least going to be right around Danna's level as a player. Still a chance by year four he's a legit starter. [Reply]
Wild how slow that get off is. If he makes any sort of improvement there I still think the hand usage and bend is really decent, and could amount to something.
If it doesn't improve then he really wasn't worthy of that first round grade. [Reply]

I don't get it.
If you are talking about the clips above. He came off the ball the same speed as everyone else. The only person that was a little bit quicker was Chris Jones.

Honestly a nice up-close reminder that even as bad as it looks, it’s not over for Kingsley if you chooses for it not to be. For 2024 yes, but dedicate to your craft and find a way young man… [Reply]
