That's not even fake queso. That's soup.

Usually on the aisle where the Ameri/Mex items are, you will find jars of queso. But even that can be iffy. Just get a package of queso fresco or cojita cheese. Add milk, green Chile, garlic, cumin, and melt to a dipping sauce consistency.

Trying my hand at some legit Mexican comfort food tomorrow, Carne Guisada... but will then make tacos out of it

Have a beautiful 3 and a half pound chuck roast and will mostly follow these directions with a few changes

Subbing green peppers for the carrots
No cloves, hate cloves
Skipping tomato paste and adding two cans of Ro-Tel

It'll have everything else though, including the chipotle peppers for smoky warmth

Served in steamed corn torts and garnished with cilantro, chopped raw onion, and chipotle sour cream... really looking forward to some authentic Mexican, guys like KCUnited and Inmem always make me jealous with the things they do

You can fine tune anything but bathing (hot tub full of fat chicks) in it's own fat is not my cup of tea

Lasagna and a side salad, sauced up the lasagna, I don't care for it dry.

Got a meatloaf resting in the fridge to slice for tomorrow. having that with mashed potatoes, brown gravy and green beans.

Also made my breakfast burritos for the week. I got my cooking done today so I could relax tomorrow.

That gravy is dark. I just bought a bottle of kitchen bouquet, only used it once and it wasn't near that dark, looks good. Gonna have to make that again.

Sliced meatloaf in a Tupperware bowl because that's how I roll. Lol. Heat that up in a glass dish with a teaspoon of water, easy peasy, just cook the sides.
