Man!!!! I love Andy Reid. The @Chiefs and Andy Reid are offensive line savants. Kingsley Suamataia has big time potential. I think he he can be awesome guard or tackle. Just needs a little technique work. He is an aggressive killer who is great athlete.
Kingsley Suamataia is a versatile offensive tackle who split his 1,300 career snaps at BYU almost exactly down the middle between left and right tackle.
My favorite line from Dane Brugler's draft guide: "He delivers more pancakes than Denny's"
Traitsy OT w/ great size+athleticism+strengt. Easy range in the run game to pull or climb to landmarks or hit set points in slide. Patient hand usage to stay square and trust his lateral agility. Pad level & overall technique should develop in NFL. pic.twitter.com/p9zOJEuMkr

Yup. Could he be a possible upgrade? Sure. But is he $20 million a year + upgrade? Jawaan hasn’t been awful, but people are up in arms over his play in comparison to his salary. Thinking Cam might be the same thing. [Reply]

I'm not giving up on Suamataia as a player for KC. He's young and raw, but you can see the ability.
I can't... The only ability that I've seen that was impressive was in a video where he was standing in about three or four feet of water, near the side of the pool, and he jumped all the way out. That was impressive! [Reply]
Watching Kingsley at Guard yesterday, it looks like he may have a future there. He's still a work in progress, but he did show some promise at the Guard position, yesterday. [Reply]
Happy to be told I'm missing the good stuff, but he looks a million miles off wherever he lines up, to me. You can see there's some physical gifts but his hands and feet look pretty wild, his balance when recovering poor. I dunno.
Way, way too early but he's going to need a lot of work in the off-season and to effectively start again.
On the other hand, quite liked the look of Nourzad. Maybe he's a center only in the end, but I think he looks the most likely OL starter from that draft class. [Reply]
He looked so much better at G. And this was against Zach Allen who is probably the best interior rusher not named Chris Jones in the AFC
I like the rep from Suamataia here. Good flat set, a good job resetting his hands, and when Allen goes to swim he gets nose to nose and starts to drive while working his feet. QB has to get rid of the ball, but good strain by Suamataia to stick with it as long as he can. pic.twitter.com/dx16J0x3oQ
I like the fight here from Suamataia. Fights off the initial bullrush from Allen. Resets his hands, and shows off the strong anchor. Would like to see him anchor in a little quicker, but he has Allen stopped. pic.twitter.com/Gau3vtmM0Y
We’re a long way from home but if he provides a competent replacement for Trey Smith at guard, that’s a massive salvage job to have under our belt ahead of the offseason. [Reply]

That would be Nourzad if you believe honest substance which Hunter showed yesterday [Reply]
Still hope he can improve to the point where we can us him at OT eventually. Lot of OTs went on to good/great careers after having a bad rookie year, so I feel like there still plenty of hope for the kid. [Reply]

If either become above average starters it'll be a big win, if both do a massive one. We need some cheaper players on that OL with Taylor, Creed and Thuney all taking up a chunk. [Reply]
I think the guard work is just a confidence builder. You don’t take a tackle, pencil him in as a starter at LT after one training camp then completely walk away from the notion of him being a tackle. Look how much run Niang got at tackle and he never looked as good as Kingsley did in week 1 vs the ravens. This is a development step imo. [Reply]
