If you have a portable stand I have 70 acres that sits on beans, corn, and butts up against corp land and the lake. [Reply]
Winds averaging 20-30 mph here in Oklahoma with gusts reaching 40 mph. Does that ruin any deer hunting? My hunting spot is covered with hills and valleys. [Reply]

If you're out of the wind you might see some action but usually, no. They won't move in high winds. Posted via Mobile Device [Reply]
I'm hunting with a .270. I could sit on top of a hill over looking a valley. It's an hour drive so I don't want to waste gas if there's little chance of success. [Reply]

No luck today. I walked close to two miles trying to stir up something. We did watch a huge 10 pt walk around about 600 yards away in the neighbors wheat field. They said it was the biggest buck they've seen in a few years. [Reply]
