Crazy night in the crypto world when the asian countries came online. Big crash late last night - ETH went from 1300 to 1000 in about an hour, and everything crashed hard across the board. The entire market lost 50B in marketcap in minutes. Many seem to have recovered, but not all. Various rumors on what caused it, but seems hard to correlate. Was an interesting thing to watch as many panic sold, while many others doubled down - wish I'd had some fiat ready to go somewhere. Would have been a great time to buy... [Reply]

Well they only had a few graphic cards in stock. What ever group comes in and buys them completely out frequently. So they must be making some sort of profit on it. [Reply]

It is very easy to correlate. Many media sources incorrectly reported a complete ban on crypto trading in South Korea. [Reply]

I saw that, but apparently, that wasn't new (inaccurate) news. Seemed to be some doubt that's what actually caused it, but certainly could be. [Reply]
