I actually liked Schien a few years back on ‘Inside the NFL’ on HBO. Most people didn’t, but I thought he was pretty detailed with his opinions. He clearly knew his stuff and did research. [Reply]
With Ware and Morse back, the Chiefs could have a very good power running game. Hunt and Ware will be a devastating one, two punch. Teams will have to respect it or face a lot of 2nd and short yardage situations which should play into Andy's game plan perfectly.
2nd and 3- How will teams cover this?
Stuff the line after a big run on first down and don't leave any help over the top on Hill.
Play the pass and try to double Kelce? Let a LB spy Mahomes so he doesn't just run around the end for the 1st down? Play man coverage on Watkins so he can't run a quick slant and turn it into a big play? How about Hunt coming out of the backfield for a quick screen pass?
Our running game is not getting much attention. We gashed teams for over 150 yards a game for the first 5 games until Morse was hurt. Now he is back. Mahomes is going to have a lot of options on short yardage situations. [Reply]
