It's literally the same shit as last week, where 75% of the money was on the Bills. People bet with their hearts. [Reply]

This isn't the first week it's been brought up... if they've been holding off bets because they think the other shoe will drop, they've been waiting 2 or 3 seasons at this point. [Reply]

True. I mean I mention it every time I watch y'all play. But I could be biased :-)
It does seem like the chatter is a bit louder this time. [Reply]

So, what's the code here? What do these geniuses know that we don't?
I swear to God, our entire society is a laughing stock of circus clowns.
Seems like Vegas has finally learned their lesson about offering Mahomes +money in a playoff game since the line hasn't moved at all. [Reply]
Jalen Carter suffering from an illness and had to miss todays media session
#Eagles standout DL Jalen Carter missed his media availability today because of an illness, I’m told. We’ll learn later about whether he participated in practice and if so, how much.

Also, statistically it's not true so there's that.
But yeah, close games.
It’s also an incredibly difficult sport to officiate. The field is huge. The players are huge and obstruct view. There are 22 players on the field. Practically every rule has some grey area in it or requires certain context to matter or not.
People generally agree you could call holding on every play. So how do you decide when to call it? When not to?
Watch every player on every play and you’ll find some form of missed call. You’ll find all sorts of bad calls. The game is just too grey to get perfect with the current system of officiating.
Then, factor in that the Chiefs win (a lot) and the games are close.
Makes it easy for unhappy people to blame the refs. [Reply]
