Year Two of the Matt Quatraro tenure. Time to take a step up this year. Active in free agency and trades this offseason. A new look pitching rotation and bullpen. Will the young players take the leap up offensively? Bobby Witt extension? New stadium? Will Vinny recover from injury? Salvy taking aim at the Royals record book? Will Cole Ragans turn into the best Royals starting pitcher since Greinke 1.0?

Sweet Jesus. I didn't realize video existed of the tarp incident. :-) [Reply]
Massey activated, Frazier to the IL. Velazquez demoted and CJ Alexander called up. Alexander has had a pretty good year in AAA with a 900 OPS, so he certainly deserves a shot over the guys we have been trotting out there all season. Some moves had to be made and hopefully more happen at some point. [Reply]

Chip Ambres and Terrence Long both thinking the other was gonna grab an inning ending pop fly, both decide to run to the dugout as the ball lands behind them... Think that was 2005?
And I think from the same year, Kerry Robinson climbing the wall as the ball lands ten feet in front it. Good times. [Reply]

Angel Berroa took home the AL Rookie of the Year award.
His play fell off a cliff afterwards, but I think he deserved it, playing a premium position like SS.
I was convinced he was going to be an MVP candidate in the the following years. Of course I was like 13 at the time and knew very little about baseball. :-) [Reply]
