It's a pretty common trend for people who don't often go to urban areas to vastly exaggerate safety issues in urban areas. The news does a horrible job of conveying the frequency of issues.
Based on what a lot of people here say, downtown Denver is a drug infested wasteland. Do homeless people and drug use exist? Sure. Have I ever felt unsafe? Nah.

I'm worried a MLB is gonna land his shoulder in that guy and the team is gonna be back where we started at WR last year. In Veach I trust however but physics is the ultimate judge.
