Those QBs all play in traditional pro style offenses and are primarily pocket passers who only scramble when the pocket breaks down. Favre was fun but he drove his coaches crazy. [Reply]

Lol you have never watched Mahomes if you really think he's more comparable to the guys you mentioned.

Most of the spread QB's fail bc they get thrown into a bad situation early or have horrendous coaching.
Winston and Wentz both came from pro style offenses and Bama runs a pro style offense, but I agree that is not the norm. I do think Mahomes is in a good situation and that Smith will play one, maybe two, more years and that's it, it's all on Mahomes to perform. KC is tied to Mahomes now. [Reply]
Seems like Denver is going to use Charles the way I wanted them to use McCaffery. Which is using him to create mismatches in the passing game against LB's/safeties and only running the ball against favorable looks. Should help him stay healthy, hopefully.

I’ve seen what his vision is and I see what my vision is — to help the team out of the backfield and catch the ball. That is what my job is. I’m out here to help the team out.”

This maybe one of the dumbest football observations I have ever seen on CP. :-)
I would take him as my QB everyday and twice on Sunday. [Reply]
