middle of winter here now, but by spring, we will have the most fertile garden soil since we bought the house 8 years ago. :-)
the only good tomato is one grown in a back garden that grows the size of sammich bread :-)
I've been trying to perfect a good hoagie roll, but never quite coming up with something I like as much as those po boy rolls in New Orleans. So I gave up and ordered some. Made a kick-ass meatball sub this evening for dinner. [Reply]
Meatloaf Grilled Cheese - 8.5 out of 10 Big giant hunk of meat with crispy, crunchy exterior but real thick and juicy for a meatloaf.
Personally made BLT on Sourdough with all the fixins and extra mayo plus red skin breakfast potatoes - 8.0 out of 10
Asian Soba Noodle Salad with Grilled Chicken - 9.0 out of 10. This was incredible with Napa cabbage, carrots, celery, chopped peanuts, and all kinds of wonderful stuff.
Napa Chicken Salad sandwich on brioche - 7.5 out of 10 -perfect but needed more mayo or dressing, too dry and crumbly but flavorful
Gastropub burger 9.5 out of 10 with caramelized onions, extra Gruyere, butter lettuce on a toasted Brioche bun. Top 3 burger in my life!
I just can't help myself with good food! :-) [Reply]
