These might be the good old days.
I agree and I mentioned this much in August.

If you grew up in Kansas as I did, there were certain things you could look forward to….
And all of those things have dramatically changed in recent years, and especially right now.
We’ve got a football team that has won 3 super bowls in the past 5 years, and there’s nothing saying we can’t do the threepeat, led by Patrick Mahomes, who is likely to go down as a top 3 QB.
We’ve got a fun baseball team, led by almost a Mahomes type clone, except the baseball version. We’re primed to be a playoff team again, and with more offseason moves, we could be in the mix next year, and years forthcoming…
As a Jayhawk fan, we’ve already won two Natty’s and Covid year ruined what could’ve been a third. Nevertheless, Bill has us always in the mix and it’s always worth watching.
And now KU football is not just competent, but actually good, fun to watch and winning. Lance Leipold is already a legend.
Things will go sideways, we won’t win em all, but man, Kansas, this region…. Who’d have thunk this? We’re living in golden times.
It's highly unlikely we ever have it this good again, so I hope we all enjoy this ride and appreciate it. [Reply]
Hurley also said UConn won't be "doing another three-game MTE again. Moving forward we will only play home-and-homes and single-game events in big-time arenas. I don't think I'll ever do a three-game MTE again."
