I'd expand and say we have high level talent beyond just the top. AJ Storr, Griffen, and Bidunga are absolute studs and should be starting somewhere... but Kansas so they are rotational. [Reply]

These might be the good old days.
Stress free sports.
The other day someone on TV was talking about Jameis Winston (IIRC) and how he's turned his mentality from gameday nerves and what not to "it's a great opportunity to play".... and I feel like that's my life watching sports these days.
There's a lot less wondering if teams are for real and stressing about how they look against the better teams they play in the regular season, etc... it's just a great opportunity to watch good/great teams.
Of course, once the Chiefs reach the playoffs, I'll be stressing the fuck out about the 3peat, but it's nice for now. :-) [Reply]

Having good - elite coaches helps a lot.
Q and Liepold have their gameday flaws, but I don’t think anyone doubts their ability to gameplan and develop talent.
Obviously Self and Reid are the best ever for their teams.
It’s not often that all my teams have their coach settled. [Reply]
We are spoiled and it's all a dream come true. After we won LIV, watching all of the ESPN shows afterward and seeing the chiron, "Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Champions" I realized the only time I had ever seen such a thing was when I won playing Madden or Tecmo. [Reply]
Refs just called a very similar dirty undercut foul on a rebound a flagrant 1 on UConn’s Karaban against Dayton. The refs in our game didn’t even consider it. [Reply]

3 straight losses for UCONN. 0-9 for McNeeley too. Did we dodge a bullet there?

And they have to be unranked now, right?
He had 20 the night before, so I don't think we dodged anything. It's just a simple fact about freshman that has been true for a long time: except in very rare circumstances, you can't count on a freshman, now matter how highly ranked, to be your best or second best player on a great team. They are going to be too inconsistent for you to have success, especially now with the NIL and more experienced players playing against them. [Reply]
