No, I don't get the sense that Iowanian thinks of it as a status symbol like you seem to be doing. I think Dane is a good guy and I don't think poorly of anyone just because they're friendly with him as long as it's not in a creepy I'm-not-going-to-wash-my-hand-because-he-shook-it kind of way. were the accusations warranted? i know they weren't. but it's a frickin bb that we all frequent. and one of the main reasons is, low moderation.

Just out of curiosity, do you think Dane is Bruce Willis or William Shatner? If so, it's news to me. I always thought he was just a behind the scenes guy with some interesting stories to share. If this is not the case, by all means, let me know. I mean, if he's selling autographs on ebay, by God, I think I should get one for free.

Apparently you know more about why Dane was so upset than I do. I always got along with the guy, and as others have said, he always had kind things to say behind the scenes. (Wishing me and my family well, etc.) So, I've got no ill will toward the guy at all.
