Yesterday treated myself to Pizzeria Bianco in downtown Phoenix, always rated as one of the top pizza places in the US. Grilled veggie appetizers and some meat/cheese bread and then a 1/2 white and 1/2 red pizza: 1/2 the Sonny Boy (red) and 1/2 Wise Guy (white) :-):-):-)
I'm on a business trip in Canberra, Australia and at a restaurant had Saltimbocca Chicken, with roasted grapes, almonds, sage and verjuice sauce on a spinach salad. It was delicious. As luck would have it they also had a gin bar (I like gin) with 200 top shelf gins, probably half of which were Australian made. I had Poor Tom's Sydney Dry with premium tonic, and it was the best gin and tonic I've ever had. All in all an awesome dinner.
