Great point by Mitch here. The Bills are the closest team to the Eagles and they did adopt a lot of their philosophy on offense leaning on the QB’s legs and the RB with a strong OL.
Defense is almost exactly the same philosophy as well. Same exact blitz rate as Fangio wanting to win with 4, play cover 2 shell and force shorter completions.

You'd think these numbnuts would have some level of respect for the two-time defending champions but I guess not. Philthy fandom never dissapoints.
Sounds like:
Bengals fans two years ago
Philly fans two years ago
Buffalo fans last year and this year
Ravens fans last year
Niners fans in 2019/last year [Reply]
Eagles offensive line is purposely massive by design. I read that they outweigh our D front five by an average of 28 Lbs per guy.
I trust Spags finds a creative way to get around them rather than through them. [Reply]

Plus Cook is closer to Barkley than Hurts is to Allen.
Allen is so much better than Hurts it’s not even funny. If Hurts landed in almost any other situation, he wouldn’t be a starter anymore. He has completely mediocre passing stats despite being in one of the most favorable situations a QB could ask for. [Reply]
"I am hoping to see Taylor Swift cry. I want to see if her mascara can hold up after a ginormous loss. She loves her man [Kelce] when he's winning, but will she still ride with him when he takes a ginormous loss?"
Yikes, what a dickhead thing to say... strange these trolls are coming out before the SB and not waiting, seems like they should have learned by now. [Reply]
He's actually a decent dude and can be pretty funny. He just seems like a guy that is constantly battling bitterness. Maybe because he never broke through being a supporting actor? [Reply]

My God what a disaster. Opening kickoff fumble by the Packers lead to the the Eagles only TD on great field position. Packers missed a FG. Love threw 3 INT’s including one where he threw it right at Baun :-). They fumbled 3X and barely recovered 2 of the 3.
So the Packers had 4 turnovers and a missed FG and it was still only 16-10 in the middle of the 4th quarter.
They barely beat a disastrous Packers team playing perfectly, beat a Rams team due to the snow and then beat an overachieving team that had a rookie QB and horrific tackling.
We are the better team here
Same deal with the Rams game. The Eagles got lucky with the weather saving them as well as 2 turnovers. The Rams were only down 16-15 going into the 4th quarter when the snow started coming down hard and the wheels fell off. [Reply]

This is what I've been saying in the Barkley thread, the guy is simply not a good passing QB at all. That's really all there is to it. He had the game of his life against us in the first matchup, and I don't think you'll ever see that kind of performance from him again. To have the kind of weapons he does and still not even break 3,000 yards this year, no matter how great the running game was, is absolutely brutal. You give Mahomes this offensive lineup, and there would be records being shattered every single week.
Like you said, he's in probably the best situation a QB could conceivably have, and he's been nothing but pedestrian. I'm playing man to man with a stacked line every single down until they prove they can do anything through the air. [Reply]
