There was actually a lit to like about the game. We always have an offensive meltdown each year and hopefully this was it. Defense played better than expected under the circumstances.
We had the lead with about 5 to play. If Andy would have just played aggressive, you'd think we would have scored a td on one of those two 4th and short field goal attempts and we would have gone to OT. [Reply]

Defense played real well. Gave the offense every opportunity to win. OL did the same. Taylor and Smith played very well overall. There's a few things that hurt us.
Injuries killed this offense last night. Pacheco had off-season surgery and didn't play in the preseason. You could tell tonight. He's still getting in game shape. Losing him was a big blow. Toney was in camp for 5 mins before he got hurt. No game snaps for him and you could tell. Get them more reps and they'll be back. Obviously Kelce was sorely missed.
Basically we went into a gun fight with a knife. Adding back Kelce will be huge. Omenihu coming back, Chris will be back at some point and Pacheco will be healthy soon.
We'll be fine. In fact I'm really happy with what we saw from Rice and FAU. Both of them showed a lot of promise
FAU flashed way more than I expected of him this early. [Reply]

Great timing too. We sent a message to jones that we can live without him which maybe tones down his leverage. Or it means we’re more willing to move on in exchange for picks and $ [Reply]
Well, the sun has come out today and I didn't get to watch the Royals lose.
Detroit has a lot of good players in the trenches, no real disgrace losing to them. Self-inflicted wounds are always the worst. Passes tipped up in the middle of the field usually doesn't end up well for the offense.
So... does WBF mean: We Be Fine or We Be F'd? [Reply]
