This is a highly flexible deal. The Chiefs will be able to move money around as needed. It will be heavily front loaded however. With the cap exploding the Chiefs were able to make this happen. [Reply]
So is it basically a three year deal? If so then that lines up with how long George, Trent and Taylor have left on their contracts. Also there's a chance Travis is retired by then too so things could look different by then tbh. [Reply]
It's 95/3. All money in the first 3 years is guaranteed. That suggests nothing in years 4 and 5 is guaranteed. There is no extra money in years 1-3. 95/3 bests ADs AAV. And Jones' total AAV isn't expected to be higher than bosa's. Which means years 4 and 5 should be right about the same 32 mil mark.

Very expensive 3 year deal at nearly $32M per year. Hopefully it doesn’t backfire on KC. [Reply]

I feel better with all that info.
Signing bonus will be spread over the 5 years. There will certainly be a cap hit in years 4 and 5. [Reply]
