The Chiefs won their 3rd ring in 5 years and cemented their Dynasty. Mahomes placed himself firmly on the Mt. Rushmore of all-time great QBs, with an insane postseason run and maybe the most memorable Super Bowl MVP performance of all time.
He led the boys down the field to come-from-behind and tie in regulation with less than 2 minutes. He then produced the NFL's first come-from-behind overtime victory, with a 7-minute drive using his arm and legs, finishing with a walk-off TD pass to Mecole Hardman. Hell, the world's biggest pop-star decided to jump on the bandwagon, bringing millions of fans on board with her. What a magical year, right?
If you would have asked anyone on Christmas day, the Chiefs were toast. The entire season was up and down, riddled with mental errors - shockingly on the offensive side of the ball. Drops, penalties, and turnovers would surely doom the season. However, the young Defense was elite, and ultimately bought the Offense just enough time to figure its shit out in the playoffs.
There are some big decisions looming this offseason: Does Veach continue to be prudent and focus on savvy, budget-friendly moves and let talent walk? Or, does he push the chips all-in with key FA's (Jones, Sneed) an attempt to become the first team to 3-peat?
Everyone agrees that the biggest needs next year are WR, OT and probably D-Line should Jones leave. Let's see if Veach and co. feel the same.
Thread Overview
This is the 13th year in a row that we will be tracking the college players the Chiefs have publicly or privately expressed interest in leading up to the NFL Draft.
Last year, we had a pretty solid showing with 4 hits: Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Rashee Rice, Wanye Morris & BJ Thompson. Let's run it back!
For those who are new: the way this operates is that we collectively monitor various social media sources, blogs, articles and reports for news of the Chiefs' interest in a certain player. When posted in this thread, I will update the OP to include the player. *Please provide the link to the article, the players name, position and team.
I am going to try to link to player profiles when they exist, courtesy of The Draft Network, NFL.com, or their team's website.

I'd be thrilled if we went with and early RB in Brooks, Benson, Wright, or Lloyd. To hell with the late RB trend, give Mahomes some elite playmakers!
1. WR Thomas Jr, 2. RB Brooks, 3. DT Sweat is probably my ideal!
Would be exciting for sure!
I think I'd honestly prefer going for 2 WRs and just really try and fix it during a bumper year for WRs. Any idea what the RBs are looking like next year? [Reply]

Stacked. Way better at the top, way better throughout. If guys like Raheim Sanders and Nick Singleton bounce back, it just gets even better.
You got
TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State
Donovan Edwards, Michigan
Quinshon Judkins, Ohio State (transfer from Ole Miss)
Tahj Brooks, Texas Tech
Ollie Gordon, Oregon State
Raheim Sanders, South Carolina
Nick Singleton, Penn State
Trevor Etienne, Georgia (He fucked up with a DUI though)
Jaydn Ott, Cal
Omarion Hampton, North Carolina
Ashton Jeanty, Boise State
Jordan James, Oregon
Dylan Sampson, Tennessee
Gavin Sawchuk, Oklahoma
Roman Hemby, Maryland
The Kansas City Chiefs (No. 32) have also been a popular mock draft landing spot for South Carolina WR Xavier Legette. He says it would be a “great opportunity” to play with QB Patrick Mahomes. Has done a top 30 visit with the Chiefs and also met with them at the combine pic.twitter.com/jffMtUKJFa

Yeah, I'd take a swing on a guy like I have in my mock in the 7th... but I wouldn't go out searching for an RB in this class. There are some good pass-catching backs still available on the market like Breida. I just don't think it's a thing to push. Next year though, man it's shaping up to be a really nice class if most of those guys declare and Pacheco will be one year from being a FA. [Reply]
