It really is pretty amazing. Andy Reid is incredible. 5 of those 11 seasons he had Alex Smith at QB. We just take for granted that the Chiefs will be ready to play and take care of business week to week throughout every year. Very little drama, everything staying on schedule.

I actually just checked the standings for each season of the Mahomes era and this is the first time since 2018 that the Chiefs have been in first place in the AFC after Week 6 which actually means the Chiefs despite their issues are in better shape than usual
