This is horrifying. Supposed to be a press conference soon with more details. Rumors seem to indicate it happened on the Verrukt, the world's tallest waterslide.
Not trying to be mean here at all, I'm asking honestly - does the head continue to see or feel after detaching? I thought I'd heard during the Guilitine phase that the head has like 30 seconds after rolling off the gallows and into the bucket. But again just asking

Or maybe not: it could hurt for as long as seven seconds, which is how long it takes for the brain to use up all the oxygen in the blood. It's a notoriously hard thing to study since, y'know, it requires decapitating someone.

I saw one in Saudi Arabia. The head continued to scream for a bit. Then it turned all waxy and greenish. Odd thing to see at 16. [Reply]

Jesus. It's a multi person ride? That would be horrifying.

Goddamn. Why did you see a beheading at 16? [Reply]

Yeah.
I'm always seeing these kinds of kids murdered/mistreated/die horrifically stories on yahoo and pass them by every single time, do not wanna hear the details
This one is so terrible it almost defies description... other kids being present on the raft, and I can only assume the poor lads head followed the raft on down to the bottom into the splash pool where dozens of other kids surely seen it
For a father to lose a kid in this fashion would be beyond a nightmare. This was supposed to be a fun day. There's got to be some kind of ramifications from this somehow. A ten year old boy shouldn't have to die like this. [Reply]

They removed the age restriction. Now a height and weight for the raft restriction.
I hope they get put completely under. Surprised it took this long for something serious to happen on that ride.
I don't think this is the first serious accident at this park. [Reply]
