He told the media basically that Veach fucked up cutting Lammons cause he was in the game plan. Basically complaining to the media about it..while having a god awful year. [Reply]

More stupid shit. You do realize that the "last" 5 to 10 positions on EVERY football team are based upon ST. Most of them are vets that are role players in the other two phases. They get every ST snap and then 25% or fewer snaps in the other phases.
More than half of this year's ST is rookies that are late round picks. [Reply]

I actually can't see Andy activating Fortson over Bell at this point, and I highly doubt we're going into the game with 4 active TEs. I think it's far more likely they are activating CEH.
Or maybe he will have all 4 of them active? Who knows, it will be interesting to see what their plan is. I'm sure they're going to try and give the Bengals as many new looks as possible since we've had so much trouble against their D. [Reply]

He played last week and Jax destroyed us. Butkers face mask tackle probably saved that game. So its not like Lammons is some huge loss. It really sucks for him because he now misses the next two games and wont be on the Chiefs SuperBowl winning team.
They had to make room for someone, hopefully its Fortson. With only 4 teams left there was probably a 99% chance no one was going to claim him.
Bad Karma for the Bengals! Literally fucking the guy over!
Toubs has been a weak link all year and losing one of his better guys doesnt help his case, which Im sure he is under serious pressure not to fuck up.
Guys at the bottom of the roster get cut all the time to make room for more talented players returning. Thats all this is, no big deal. [Reply]
It seems like for the Bengals to claim Chris Lammons a Bengal player would have to be released and then Chris would be on the 53-man roster. I don't understand how he can be claimed and not be added until after Super Bowl.

If the Chiefs plan to go all in exploiting Cincy’s defensive weakness against 12/13 personnel with heavy TE sets then both Bell and Fortson (if he’s healthy) could be active. [Reply]

This wasn't about "Intel", this was strictly about making sure Lammons couldn't rejoin them.
These motherfuckers are really, really poking the bear.
They caught us playing the procedural game. We were gonna Practice Squad him and elevate on GameDay. They correctly saw it and made the claim to keep him out. I don't blame them, and would guess we would do the same thing if we could.
Am I missing a part of what Toub said? Obvioulsy he's not my favorite guy but how is OP the example of him being dumb?

I don't see how we are interpreting this as him saying Veach fucked up. It seem's like a coach who cares about his players, and that's important in the NFL, as a player to feel like your coach has your back. I thought this qoute wasn't that bad, or is there another I'm missing? [Reply]
Yea Toub didn't really say anything against Veach. He basically just recited exactly what happened. Not sure how this would be remotely fireable lol. [Reply]
