With RB Isiah Pacheco expected to be sideliend 6-8 weeks, the Chiefs are bringing their former RB Kareem Hunt back to Kansas City for a Tuesday visit, per league sources. Hunt could help fill the Chiefs’ running back void. pic.twitter.com/nDzNGlrcuH

I was wondering if they had a trade setup. 810 said they only had 52 on the roster yesterday. I'm usually not a big proponent for trading draft capital away, but I might do it this year to go all in for the three peat. [Reply]
Between Pacheco, Steele, the Jacobs rumors, and now Hunt reconciliation, it's pretty clear that Veach/Reid wanted to focus on developing a smash-mouth run game to compliment Worthy/Brown over the top.
If teams are going to sit back and not let us take the top off, it looks like our plan was to march right down the field by pushing through mf'ers faces.
We saw a bunch of that yesterday.
If it turns out that Hunt has anything left resembling his days of old, and Pacheco comes back healthy in November/December, we are going to be so fucking scary to play. [Reply]

Robert Woods? It has to be someone from the outside otherwise they would have promoted Montrell Washington or Cornell Powell to the 53 already. [Reply]

Could be a nice morale boost with the slog still ahead.
There was some unnamed staffer at the time saying how sad it was losing him, how it felt like a divorce and that Hunt was absolutely crushed... he will no doubt be elated to be back and we will get his best
And thats gonna be a damn sight better than anything CEH ever brought [Reply]

So I’d like to have a vet option available if he can’t improve like we hope. Cause I’m not confident Wanya would do any better.
Could easily cost them the season if Hendrickson does that in a playoff game.
This. We need an insurance policy there and Wanya Fucking Morris ain't it. [Reply]
Would love for Kareem to finally get a ring and redeem himself. It would be the icing on that threepeat cake. He would be automatic in short yardage situations. Take an older version of him over MEH all day every day. [Reply]

One thing that kind of stuck out to me is that hunt seemed almost lighter. I think it’s just that Chubb is such a physical specimen that you think anyone can just plow through that offense. But I’m not sure Kareem has the leg drive he used to where he used to carry guys 10 yards. Have no idea why that is. [Reply]
