I'm not worried at all if we don't do it tonight, and I'd KIND of like to see us do the whole thing and finish shit off in real time, but I just want the W period.
KIND of feel the same way about them winning at home, and I'd more than likely go to game 6.... but yeah, finish it tonight. [Reply]

I think you also have to look at Moustakas, who has put up good numbers at the plate, with some big hits at crucial times, and has made some outstanding defensive plays. [Reply]

Insanity. Love the Royals but we're damn lucky not to be down 3-1. Let alone beating Houston. [Reply]

Yep, and with how good the Royals have been defensively, you can say the Mets have been pretty lucky, too... seems like they've made more errors and dumb mental mistakes this series than the rest of the postseason, where as the Mets weren't exactly a great defensive team to begin with, from what I've read.
A lot of that washes out and you end up with the same relentless Royals team that we've watched for 200+ games. [Reply]

He was comparing our offense to the 98 Yankees earlier this postseason. I don't think we're quite that good, and our starting pitching isn't as good as theirs. That 98 Yankees team won like 114 games during the season. We could've won more if we hadn't fell asleep in September, but still. We're better defensively and have a deeper bullpen, but the 98 Yankees were an all time great team. [Reply]
