I don't really see the benefit for the Panthers here. For that, they should've just kept him and paid him because they have a gaping hole at WR again, and he's in his prime. [Reply]

His two best passing performances were Cincy and Tampa. Both defenses are bad.
Their best win was Buffalo, but they destroyed the Bills on the ground. He was efficient but not prolific through the air as a result.
His other wins are Washington and Dallas. Dallas is a disaster. Washington’s defense is fine.
Is that really all that different than previous years? He started his first MVP season red hot through the air as well and had several 4-5 TD games then.
Looks like his defense is just worse now, so his yardage is up by necessity.
It is definitely different from other years where they built huge leads through defense and running the ball, then ran the ball the entire second half. Because his defense is so bad it’s not just that they’re throwing out of necessity. In the past they couldn’t keep up in shootouts because Lamar didn’t want to throw. But this year they are. He couldn’t take the shots he’s taken this year because of his inaccuracy. Monkens really opened up their offense.
I hate the Lamar love as much as anyone but he is a much better qb this year. Again we will beat them because we can thrash their defense and because spags is a good coach. But credit where credit is due [Reply]
What worries me about The Ravens is that they have the ability to control a game with their running back and running QB. They have regressed on Defense. If they want Lamar to throw the ball more I’m all for it. [Reply]

They aren't controlling the game running the ball against us this year anyways. [Reply]
The Panthers are paying most of Johnson’s remaining salary in the deal, and the Ravens will only have to pay Johnson about $625,000, according to Jeff Zrebiec of TheAthletic.com. [Reply]
I'm shocked at the price. I thought he'd go for a 3rd or 4th. Although, I don't see how this helps the Ravens. Their defense is shit and the offense wasn't being held back because of WR... [Reply]

It's dumb as hell. Listening to CDot it seems like he might be a locker room cancer. That might make sense. [Reply]
Weird thing is we're talking about the Chiefs needing a DB when the Ravens defense is 26th in points and 25th in yards and dead last against the pass. Certainly a good move for the Ravens but if those numbers don't improve they are going to be vulnerable in the playoffs. Especially in the AFC where there a bunch of good QBs and even guys like Flacco can still sling it around if you let them. [Reply]

Lol yes let's just trade for ten receivers just to make you forum gm's happy :-) [Reply]
Ravens with absolute robbery. Basically move back a few picks at the very end of the draft (meaningless), and Carolina pays almost all of his salary. For this caliber of explosive receiver. What is going on and why did the rest of the league not offer something more? It just doesn't add up. Whereas Chiefs gave up a 4th rounder (assuming we make Super Bowl) for Hopkins [Reply]
