It's nothing dramatic! It's facts! Our path is easier starting 2-0 than anything less!
Likewise, with each loss, it's gets tougher as with each win, it's easier! Just facts! Everyone here knows this so let's just not blow it off like it doesn't matter, cuz that's not how the FO or HCAR is looking at it!
Is it the end of the world if we don't start hot? No! But how many of you all bet the farm last year when we lost to Buffalo, when we could have severely damaged their chances?
How many of you bet the farm or doubled down when we lost to LV on X-mas day ?
The way some here want to throw L's around now might as well call us SB Champs with Carson Wentz as our QB! ( and Lord forbid anything happen to PM ! ).
We just don't know how injuries go, we have been very lucky about the injury bug! [Reply]

Who needs HFA?
Who needs tiebreakers?
Who needs to have home playoff games ?
.
Uhhhhh.... did you see how this team just won a Super Bowl?
The Chiefs are built to win in the playoffs in any stadium. They build themselves up this way and take that mentality and carry it with them all season long.
It's why they can go up against these supposed juggernaut tough physical boom boom rosters like the Eagles and the 49ers in the Super Bowl and outplay them at their own style of football. [Reply]

So you are good with going on the road, every year, for every game of the playoffs? [Reply]

Never said I had one. But if you want to know why I think it could be wise to add a Pro Bowl playmaker to the roster, if on the cheap, uh gee, logic, common sense?
Damn, we just won the SB last year, so what was wrong with our WR's we needed to upgrade?
Come on, we needed to, let's not sit on our hands! No other NFL team has, I don't either.
We know we gotta build thru the draft, but it doesn't mean we can't PU a FA here or there?
By the logic many are barking about here, why did we sign JuJu, or Drew, or even Charle's Ominhue?
Opportunity existed and we took advantage of it.
Simmons has been a big play pro bowl safety so why could we use him?
Aw hell, IDK, Who needs playmaker?
Been watching football since the Texans became the Chiefs.
I have no issues with our players, just injuries! [Reply]
-It's baffling to see Skyy in his third year and still can't get on the same page as Mahomes. Third year is a seasoned veteran. In my book he's second to only Breeland Speaks in terms how big of a bust he's been in the Veach era. He's so bad he makes Clyde look like a solid pick.
-Worthy is ready. From a development standpoint he's looking great but man the early impression is there's always something up with his health. It's very early though.
-Our secondary is stellar. Joshua Williams taking his game to the next level is icing on the cake. Absolutely stacked on the back end.
They've won Super Bowls as the 1, 2 & 3rd seeds. The seasons are getting longer, turning into marathons instead of races. Rice taught us a pace car is better, right? Let's Fucking Go, with wisdom [Reply]

Yes, because clearly that Pro Bowl safety who was set to make 18mm or so before being cut is going to be cheap.
I think we should add some Pro Bowl edge rusher as well who’s cheap. And we should get a cheap Pro Bowl corner to replace Sneed. And we should get some cheap Pro Bowl WRs too as they could be good insurance in case Moore and Toney don’t improve. [Reply]
The thing with the first 2 is that it isn't detrimental to the Chiefs to lose, but for them to hand a loss to the Bengals AND Ravens is pretty important. Their division is a gauntlet and having those tie breakers and such would be big for KC. [Reply]
