Here's the Grouper at the Greek Islands Taverna in Ft. Lauderdale. I had this on the second trip a few weeks ago. I know you guys are bigger meat eaters than I, but this was amazing. This sauce is so full of flavor.

Only I served it with spinach and roasted diced zucchini and red pepper instead of potato and their mix of green beans and carrots.
If anyone ever goes here, they have got to try the place. Homemade hummus was out of this world. Also the grouper Ladoregano was the best grouper I ever had too. Place is always mobbed. Casual atmosphere.
:-) you always make Martha Stewart look like white trash slapping a Swansons in the microwave [Reply]

EDIT: Oops! Forgot the fig, goat cheese and walnut salad on greens with a raspberry walnut vinaigrette dressing. Added now.
I LOVE lamb and have eaten it numerous times since I moved to Scottsdale. Ironically many restaurants here serve it versus hardly any in the DC area. I think the Midwest retiree demographics here is why it's so popular. It's been great no matter where I have had it. The figs look great too and just had some last week with my cheese platter

I LOVE lamb—even more than beef. I make my Moussaka and Shepherds Pie with lamb or sometimes a beef/lamb mix.
Fresh figs are in season! Sooo good with goat cheese; other cheeses too.
I love a slice of whole grain toast for breakfast with goat cheese, some peach jam and dark roast coffee for a breakfast. [Reply]
