At the Iowa/Minnesota game last night. It is always a crazy time, even in Minnesota. But damn the Minnesota fans are delusional. I get supporting your team and "You hate Iowa"
(yes, that is their chant) But you are not going anywhere. and beating Iowa is your Rose Bowl. No one remembers when you last won the big ten or were in a Rose Bowl. you have been in 1 NYD bowl since 1960.
The lady standing behind us-who should not have been there- had the most grating voice and thought she understood football. I wanted to punch her. Even my wife said she was obnoxious. Think a voice like Margaret Houlihan in early MASH episodes.
When Iowa turned it into a stomp she SHUT UP. I just laughed.
At least as an Iowa fan, I know we are not going anywhere and KF should retire.
It is fun though to stomp someone at home and take over their stadium-which Iowa has done many, many times.
