Carr is capable of a good game here and there but is never consistent. He was pretty pedestrian until the Adams throw. His first TD resembled a punt. This was probably his best game in the last 7-8 games the Raiders have played going back to last year. I’m an old Raider fan and I just can’t get behind this guy. Hard to argue with any of that.
I'm not sure Carr is capable of playing a better game than he played tonight, though he did make that last throw to Adams that was ruled INC a little harder than it needed to be.
And his floor has always been solid enough. The question was whether or not he could go out there and stand toe to toe with the best QBs out there.
I don't think he can do it consistently but he very clearly demonstrated yesterday that on his best nights, he can hang with anyone. That was a hell of a good performance from him. [Reply]
