Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

That's because he didn't set his feet to get a good throw off. The mechanics are the thing that messes the play up. Otherwise it's a good decision. If he sets his feet to throw, the only thing we have to worry about is Harris making the catch. Posted via Mobile Device [Reply]
Alex Smith and Patrick Mahomes on the same play. Everything is equal except Mahomes gets the ball to Wilson more quickly. The benefits of Mahome's ability to throw from any platform is on display here. pic.twitter.com/q3Cuq78ly5
That's because we know the result. If he hits Harris in stride for the walk in TD, are we calling it a frecking amazing, or a poor decision? I'm guessing the first choice.
Playing for the FG is no sure thing. Other than the Viking fans over the past several years, Chiefs fans should know this as well as anyone. [Reply]

I dont...Mahomes gets the ball there quicker than any QB I've ever seen. It just goes straight..like its unaffected by gravity. It's weird to watch on replay...it doesn't look natural.
He's going to be able to make throws that Alex just physically couldn't..he doesn't have to stop and set his feet. This stop/set is why Smith didn't throw to Hill vs. Pittsburgh...he didn't have enough time. Mahomes can get it there with just his wrist...it's a rare talent.
The combination of PMs rare talent and Reid being in his ear is going to be something...I can just see it. It isn't hyperbole. [Reply]

Man you got that right. I have never been this excited and anxious for the season to begin. I'm tired of talking about Mahomes' potential. I'm ready to see him in action. [Reply]
