If it weren't for Houston, Elway would've been the idiot overpaying for Brock. He also overpays for shit like Stephenson and Watson.
Elway didn't overpay for any of those guys. Stephenson and Watson were essentially given one year deals, so was Russell Okung. Overpaying would be giving Matt Kalil $11M per year or allowing a washed up, has been like Tamba Hali count $12M against your cap. [Reply]

They're conservative/low-risk on offense and rely on defensive turnovers. It's not like KC needs a lot of offense, crowd noise and momentum to win. They usually win ugly.

He was overpaid
He was benched for one half of one game. I'd rather have Stephenson at $5M with no guarantees than the $14M Eric Fucking Fisher is going to cost KC in 2018. Yeah Fisher is better than Stephenson, but he's not worth half of what Dorsey is paying him. [Reply]

Fisher isn't even a top 10 paid tackle this season. Everyone knows LT is one of the hardest positions to find in the NFL. You are forced to overpay for decent OT's bc spread offenses are making good ones more rare.
I'd rather overpay for Eric Fisher than not have a LT that is capable of starting and playing well on draft day.
The Broncos are in a really bad spot at LT right now [Reply]

It doesn't matter where they play.
There's way too much whining about location and schedules during the season for me to buy that one. [Reply]

No I'm saying 25 other teams in the NFL (so I'm saying maybe 8 teams in the NFL had true franchise QBs and wouldn't legitimately be interested in Manning) also had a shot at PM and didn't land him. This includes KC.
It's boring having to explain this to you, but then again, you're a chiefs fan. [Reply]
