Fans are excited about their ****ing homegrown starting QB. We haven't had one since... well, EVER. If they jump the gun on their excitement, who the hell ****ing cares?
He's a young QB. You can be the biggest Mahomes homer in the world and still say that he might need some time to get used to the NFL. Those aren't conflicting statements.
This has been my stance. I think the world of Mahomes and think it’s one step back equals two steps forward. But there are guys like KK on 810 who believe Mahomes better be king shit right away or trading Smith was a bad trade. Some of these people’s viewpoints are hilarious. Like Mahomes isn’t allowed growing pains or anything. Besides, it’s not like we are pimping a 4th round QB, Mahomes has the goods and everyone sees it. I can’t fucking wait for this season. For the first time, I’m going to watch KC have the promising young QB and not have to watch someone else’s team have that QB that kicks KCs ass. [Reply]

I am excited to see what he can do with a Stacked Offense, weapons galore.
Sink or swim he has had a story book entry into the league. He will earn all the Escalades or ridicule he receives. Hopefully he continues to put in the hard work and leads us to the promise land.
