That guy is the best pass rusher in the league. Man is a goddamn alien.
Expecting a guy coming back from an injury to look good against him right off the bat is expecting a bit too much IMO
My personal expectations is just that he doesn't loose immediately like Morris was last week. If he can at least Orlando Brown it and push a guy up the arc and not let guys go 100 percent free in the first two seconds its an improvement over last week. [Reply]

It's all relative. I'm not suggesting he is going to shut Myles down. And damn Andy Reid if he doesn't give him help all day in that matchup.
But what I do expect is for the offense to function just fine and score enough to win. Not sure that would be the case if Wanya or Kingsley play. [Reply]

ALl the remaining teams on our schedule have good pass rushers...
Chargers - Bosa
Cleveland - Garrett
Texans - Anderson, Hunter
Broncos - Bonnito
Steelers - Watt
They will go after Taylor first and foremost. But at least that's not on Mahomes' blind side. [Reply]

I'd be happy if he can provide Donovan Smith level protection...that at least enabled us to win a super bowl. [Reply]
If they give him Taylor's number, the refs will be very confused when they're calling false starts on the RT. They have that programmed by now. [Reply]

I still think Chiefs FO should bring back Donovan Smith as insurance, protecting Mahomes has to be THE #1 FRANCHISE PRIORITY. He can probably be had for cheap at this point, too. Morris and Kingsley cannot see the field anymore as a tackle, perhaps at guard but not tackle.
As some have stated, we don't want to 'Andrew Luck' our Pat [Reply]

Lot of folks wanted Kingsley at 32. Hoo boy if we did that :-)
We also acknowledged that he needed a year to develop. That’s still the case. What shocked everyone was the coaching staff putting him on an island right away with little to no help whatsoever. The kid will get it figured out sooner or later. I still think the tools to be a plus starter are there. [Reply]

LT seems to be a more nuanced position...which is why it's coveted. You need long arms and quick feet...plus developed technique.
How hard is it to convert someone with the athletic gifts of Kingsley to guard...and Morris for that matter?
Don't some failed LTs turn out to be good ones...or at least serviceable? [Reply]
