Is it bad when I watch that TD toss to Tyreek that I think "Damn, Pat. You made him bend down to catch that. Hit him in his hands next time." I'm so freaking spoiled after two games of watching this kid this season. [Reply]
People think this is every-year hype, but man, you could bottle up all the excitement I've felt in the past 15 years (and let's not kid ourselves, there's always a lot of it - like when we won a playoff game 30-0) - and it just doesn't compare to the prospect of watching this kid for the next 15 years and what we as a team can do.
It is unfathomable to think we won't win multiple Super Bowls with him if this play continues and progresses. Brady is done any day now, Ben and Rivers too, the Jags have no QB and will be an afterthought in 2-3 years. Man, it's hard to live in the moment, as good as it is, just thinking about what's to come. [Reply]

Unless you think Mayfield or Darnold are the kind of HoF talents the AFC has had falling out of trees the last 15 years (I damn sure don't), there's nobody on the horizon to match him.
The long-term QB talents are in the NFC in Wentz and maybe Goff (frankly, that's gonna be a McVay creation but a monster nontheless). Watson doesn't scare me at all, nor does Lamar Jackson. This really could be one of those runs where the Chiefs play in 6-7 AFC championship games over the next decade and walk away with a couple of rings with even mediocre luck. Just keep Mahomes healthy and the future is ours... [Reply]

Says a lot about Hill and his speed to. Hayward ran a stunt and Cam Eeving never re-engaged so Pat had maybe 2 seconds to let go of that ball. Last year #11 just turtles into the fetal position on that play [Reply]
