Do you think it's a coincidence the offense played better when play calling duties shifted? Something that was true when both Nagy AND Pederson took over play calling.

The irony...
You’re the one ignoring the first few weeks of the season (when the OL and Conley were healthy), along with all of the other great games by Reid in his Chiefs tenure and career.
At the end of the day, Alex Smith is who he is and playcalling wasn’t going to change that (hence the playoff game reference). [Reply]
It’s funny how the playcalling looked phenomenal with a guy like Mahomes behind center throwing beyond the sticks on 3rd down, keeping plays alive, and keeping his eyes downfield when moving around in the pocket. That was with a FB at RB for most of the day.
I’m sure the mentality/skill set of the QB had nothing to do with the playcalling looking significantly better though. [Reply]
