OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Certainly not the current RB coach, I mean OC. A RB coach is doubtful to have a high understanding of the passing game.

John Middlekauff, who used to be a scout with Andy in Philly, talked on his podcast about joking with Kafka that he’d be a coach in 2 years...except they really weren’t joking bc they knew it would probably happen, especially if Pat blows up.

I think Andy is gonna be here longer at least 4 more years. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him get another new deal from Clark depending on how we do in the coming years.

You think that was a coincidence?
So why was our offense great in the first few games of the season then? The only reason we shit the bed in the middle of the season was because our Oline got fucked up with injuries. Not because of play calling.

Nagy called the plays vs. NE thru Hou when the team was dominating? This place is dumb sometimes.

So was Doug Pederson. Should we compare their trophy shelves?

How does stating obvious facts answer my question?

Let me ask again.

Do you think it's a coincidence the offense played better when play calling duties shifted? Something that was true when both Nagy AND Pederson took over play calling.

It's a yes or no question. Feel free to elaborate, but don't just reply with "I think water is wet and the earth is a sphere." C'mon.

Record?
PPG?

One of two things happened here.

1. You demonstrated that there was no change in success when Nagy (or Pederson) took over play calling.

2. You hid behind passive aggressiveness hoping nobody notices that cherry picking bad games doesn't disprove this obvious and easily demonstrable trend.

The irony...

You’re the one ignoring the first few weeks of the season (when the OL and Conley were healthy), along with all of the other great games by Reid in his Chiefs tenure and career.

At the end of the day, Alex Smith is who he is and playcalling wasn’t going to change that (hence the playoff game reference).

It’s funny how the playcalling looked phenomenal with a guy like Mahomes behind center throwing beyond the sticks on 3rd down, keeping plays alive, and keeping his eyes downfield when moving around in the pocket. That was with a FB at RB for most of the day.

I’m sure the mentality/skill set of the QB had nothing to do with the playcalling looking significantly better though.
