Andy Reid got depantsed in the Super Bowl by Bruce Arians.
Bruce Fucking Arians and Tom Fucking Brady.
Well, you see, Andy Reid is an offensive genius, and how dare we question Andy Reid's genius in not running the ball and not utilizing the screen pass in the face of an epically brutal pass rush, a patchwork offensive line and a QB with a hurt toe?
How dare we question his geniusness?

Everyone freaking out about him right now will change their tune when Mahomes takes over
Reid can draw up plays with the best of them, and St Pat will execute those plays with daring and precision... its going to be glorious, and Reid will once again be considered a genius [Reply]

Well sure, but answer this, why is Andy the only man on earth to not see that it's a move he needed to make games ago? Why did he pretty-much throw away another season in hopes that something magical would happen after Alex regressed? Why does Andy take so long to stop doing stupid shit?
I get loyalty and commitment to the plan, but this is fucking pathetic. [Reply]
Do you get as much for a QB in trade if he's a benched QB? If Smith had gone along the way he started, no reason to bench him...if not, then get as much as you can for him in a season that we had too many holes to fill to go all the way anyway. [Reply]

Great point, but I'd counter with, how much do you get with playing a guy that'll keep proving that he's not even a reliable backup?
Blame the O-line if you want, but this kid refuses to work a progression on a consistent basis. But Alex might sell himself as a runner more than a thrower! [Reply]
And the worst part is that Andy and Alex might come out next week and put on a show against the Bills because of all this pressure, but we all know it won't last. The moment the heat is off, or the media supports them just enough, they'll regress to the check-down king who's ordered to throw bubble screens. They just can't help themselves.
And I'll be the first to admit that Alex is one scared motherfucker, but he's 1) too nice to the fags on the O-line (he needs to get into their asses a'la Brady, and 2) Andy needs to fall on his sword for how bad this gay O-line is. Or blame the front office for giving him too few players to compete with. Our first man up and our next man up, SUCK! [Reply]

Wrong.
Mahomes is going to fill the huge, gaping, void of suck and piss play calling that is Andy Reid.
Mahomes mountain to climb is absolutely fucking monumental. He must overcome Reid, overcome a bag o' dicks O-line, and do this with pretty much no true #1WR to throw to if he gets the tap to finish 2017.
And if he manages to win the rest of the games which are given to him, you can go ahead and start getting him fitted for a gold jacket. [Reply]

Well if he continues on his path of regress than he'll kill any trade value. [Reply]

Reid's offense has always been about stretching the field horizontally and getting his playmakers in space.
There's little doubt Mahomes will probably take more shots downfield, but you could make a pretty good amount of cash by betting people that Reid's playcalling won't change as much as you think. Even with the Eagles, Reid would throw the ball to the running backs 100-150 times a year. We don't have a RB at that level, but you will almost surely still see plenty of screens and short horizontal plays to Hill and Kelce, even when Mahomes takes over. [Reply]

And that would be why Reid needs to be dobe here... [Reply]
We won, that's AWESOME, but there's simply NO excuse for the D STILL being this bad, Sutton is STILL being here, and the officials STILL won't call holding when our D line is held. A real coach would make sure the D was better, shit like Sutton was fired, and the officials wre exposed nationally for not calling holding.
But he's shit and only wants the free food!
He's trash, I can't wait for him to leave. [Reply]
