I made another American Chop Suey because it was so good last time and it's fast and easy. This time took a pick. Lots of green peppers and onions in it.
I had a good sized breakfast and am just gonna feed myself beer and vodka until it's time for dinner.
Burgers on the grill for the first time this year. I'm sure they'll turn out fine. Gonna throw on some bacon, mayo, onion, spicy mustard and pickles. [Reply]

Papa Murphys cheese pizza $3.14 not a bad deal. Didn't even have to go out of my way as its right by the bank.

Can't wait for garden tomato. Putting some stuff in the ground this weekend.
Yeah I'm gonna skip tomatoes on the burger until I can get something worth a shit. Nothing worse than throwing a pale, hard shit tomato on a burger and ruining it. [Reply]

I'm ok with corned beef, but if I'm gonna fuck with it, I'm turning it into pastrami. I follow this Katz deli copy cat recipe, and it ends up like sliced meat butter. Freakin amazing. Anyhow, I started today, will smoke Saturday early am, steam saturday eve, and have hot pastrami sammy's saturday night for dinner. Not really as time consuming as it looks, as most of the time is waiting for it to soak or chill.

America chop suey? my ass that's ...maybe Italian suey...:-):-):-) [Reply]
I need to get access to Costco... still 45 minutes away. Sam's where I live sucks and Costco and Meijer's are both afraid of each other in smaller markets. They both seem to screw up each other's business plans.
My new Mexican grocer is willing to get me whatever I want so I'm going to try him next go round. [Reply]

It's worth it for us. While it's only 20 minutes away, it's right next to the hockey rink, so we're there a couple of times a week anyway. Not taking Amex anymore sucks, but hey, if you're price-aware, the annual fee is of no consequence. Even their snack bar is worth hopping into before or after hockey practice! And if you make as many fruit/veggie smoothies as I do (every day!!), their frozen fruit and veggies are AWESOME! [Reply]
