That was eerily flat...nothing close to that flat around here. [Reply]

I know. I'd have taken that pic down if I thought you were really being a douche.
Really though, I like it out here. It's not just because my business is out here, I like it. If I ever get my head out of my ass when I'm out and about, I'll see about taking some other pictures, maybe some from the air. [Reply]

You are gonna want to sneak up on them. Go to Cabelas and buy some antlers. Affix them to your head with an old belt or something. Wear light brown clothing. Crawl around on your hands and knees until you can get up close to a deer. then shoot it. [Reply]
Hey Buehler you ever think about planting some trees around your house? I got a bunch of hedgeballs laying in my yard that could help you get started.....maybe some oaks or cedars/pine for a wind break?
Everytime we go through your area I wonder why people don't get some trees/hedgerows started?
How are the pheasants out there this year? [Reply]

It's because they die. That's looking east. We have a cedar windbreak on the north wrapping along the west. We tried to get one started on the South and it died, we have to try again in the spring.
The wind rarely blows from the east, and you don't want too many trees around the runway.
Most homes have trees around them, but unless there a bunch of water that you can pump on them, they die. [Reply]
Oh, the pheasants. Not so good. The drought really dinged up the population. In the fields where there was water close, there are good birds, but where there isn't water around it is pretty thin.
Up north it is better though. North part of the county and up north of I-70 got a lot more rain. [Reply]
