I think he's going to get cut. The Browns would love to get something for him, but that's probably not in the cards. They can just cut his ass and save 4.75M. Easy decision IMO. [Reply]

Makes as much sense as anything.
Gotta get that money to the happy baby butthole surfer. [Reply]

Clark Hunt seems like a guy who chooses his words carefully, so I don't see any scenario that ends with Kareem Hunt playing for the Chiefs again.

Yeah because Frank Clark beating the hell out of his girlfriend is so much better.
These guys are football players, not Priests. I'm sure Clark would welcome Kareem back under the right circumstances. Not saying it will happen though but it could. [Reply]

The Kareem Hunt that's about to get cut is not the same Kareem Hunt that left the Chiefs high and dry due to his actions in 2018.
He couldn't even win the starting job on his new team.
Now with his best years behind him, people want to believe that Clark Hunt, Andy Reid, and Brett Veach are just going to forgive and forget and welcome back a clearly lesser player for what? Some feelgood "who says you can't go home" story?
Lmao.
We've won a superbowl without him, been to another that we would have won if the o line didn't implode with injuries. Haven't finished short of an AFC title game at home since he left.

Move. On.
You have no idea if Chiefs would have won if oline was healthy. The game wasnt close and Bucs were moving the ball at will pretty much the whole game
I agree time to move on but let's not get carried away here. [Reply]

He did. It was contingent upon Hunt doing all the things he needed to do and Veach said something like, if he did them, one never knows what could happen on the future. Then very shortly afterwards, Dorsey signed Hunt. [Reply]
that 2nd contract he signed with cleveland was genuinely one of the dumbest decisions he could have made (besides kicking a bitch in the head). dude played himself out of millions of dollars that would have came with being a starter for a different team just to carry chubbs jock strap.

But this is not a valid reason, Nick Chubb is a top 5 back easily.
Yea, Hunt might not be the same as 2018 but he would be a huge addition to KC's backfield.
But even putting aside having to meet his contract demands, I would be surprised if the Chiefs would go anywhere near that after the 'you lied to us'. Not sure Hunt would exactly want to deal with that media circus either... [Reply]

you get what you give kareem.
Yea, a second rate contract to be a back up on a second rate team.
If he was going to take such a pay cut to be a backup, he could have at gone to a contender. [Reply]
